"This isn't a car show, it's a gathering. A gathering of people from around the country that all have a common interest. The love of their vehicles and meeting other people with the same interest. So, in my humble opinion anything that drives and is able to make the tour should be included."by live2run

HOT ROD POWER TOUR History

It started back in 1995, when the HOT ROD staff came up with the idea to take a cross-country road trip with their project cars, and they invited all of their car buddies and anyone else that wanted to go along. The first route stretched from Los Angeles to Norwalk, Ohio, and there were thousands of participants along the way, only seven were inducted into the Long Haul Gang (not counting the staff’s and specially invited cars). The event has come along way since then!
